Im a big fan of broccoli, artichoke and butternut squash on my pizza with a pesto sauce instead of red sauce. My cheese is usually a combo of goat cheese, feta and parmesan instead of mozzarella.

I'm not sure that conncoction qualifies as pizza anymore? LOL
    maybe thats another discussion

    Fav off the menu pizzas:
    Bruschetta pizza
Spicy potato pizza (olive oil, thin cut spiced potatoes)
    Popeye pizza (spinach and garlic)

If I order my own custom it is usually extra sauce, broccoli, black olives, sweet onion, green pepper - easy on the cheese and well done.

Oh and about the pineapple situation (and broccoli too), If these items are on pizza I pick them off and eat them separately, first.

And again about the pineapple situation (sorry OP!) If pineapple is on a pizza, it has to have hot peppers on it too - to balance the flavours, anything else is just wrong.

There's a bakery here that offers tuna as one of its pizza toppings. I've never tried it because it just sounds a little weird. And egg. Not sure what format of egg, hopefully bits of scrambled egg and not a whole egg sunny side up plopped on the pizza.

I'll add feta to pretty much any pizza. Spinach garlic and feta is one of my favourites.

Pineapple has infiltrated my non-pineapple thread.

What are some of the less known and often understood items you eat on your pizza?

I like dill pickles, cottage cheese, cheetos with hot sauce, breakfast pizza. . .

Cheetos: Are they cooked on the pizza or put on after the pizza is cooked?

I'll add them on top after cooking, toss some cottage cheese on and pickled peppers.
That's only with frozen pizzas. If it is a really good pizza, I leave it unmolested, more or less. I'll had red pepper.

Interesting. Now I want to try Doritos too.

My go-to pizzas from a local place are (from their menu):

    11. The Fireside
Garlic, pepperoni, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, sprinkled red chili pepper flakes, fresh jalapenos

    13. The Unusual
    Bacon, pineapple, jalapenos

I'm also a big fan of a bit of Feta, Goat cheese, or ricotta added to a pizza.

    OH yes, Doritos as well.

You brought up pineapple. I accuse you of consipiring with @ghudson92

I am the ever seeing eye of the forums

In New Mexico, green chilis were a fairly common pizza topping. I was a little skeptical the first time I tried it, but it’s good.

Roasted Hatch Green Chiles...I live in New Mexico and we put these on pretty much anything and they are awesome...on your pizza, on your burger, in your eggs, made into a sauce to smother burritos and enchiladas, Green Chile jam, baked into bread, calabacitas...you name it.

Love me some New Mexico cuisine.

If y'all haven't enjoyed authentic New Mexican food.... you gotta put it on your to-do list.

    Hatch Green is a favorite.

I don’t live in New Mexico anymore. I do miss the hatch green Chiles. I find most of the canned ones in the super market claiming to be hatch Chiles don’t compare to the ones I had in New Mexico. I also miss the almost always sunny weather. Oh, and you’re right about the green chiles on just about everything. It’s good!

I find thinly sliced zucchini with fresh deli sliced thin pepperoni baked under the cheese makes a good pizza too.
