Any Hockey Players in the House?

My sport of choice, ice hockey! Every Sunday for many, many years. No checking, just a fun beer league. Have been watching my daughters losing weight, so finally got seriously onboard about 7 weeks ago. Off to a good start, down about 23 pounds, hoping to be down under 200 by New Years. I have not been able to any running type exercises since my TKRs but the knees still work good for skating. Since I started counting and tracking my calories, I have been losing weight. Still enjoying my beers after my Sunday hockey games.🙂🍻

I only just got to start back skating after shoulder surgery. It's awkward. I only had like 2 months off though haha. My dr said as long as I'm good I can return.

But I'm glad I was cleared I love being on the ice
  • Glad your shoulder is doing better. After my knee surgeries did not skate for 2 years. So glad I got back on the ice. Play every Sunday now. May try to start playing on Tuesday also next year.

Nice the more you play the better you become. I learned this especially with curling. I improved a lot when I played in several leagues.

It's tough getting back on skates. I realize how it's hard work

We only get to play 6 months if we’re lucky here. The first couple skates back my feet get pretty crampy...
