Football

So I've been on this site for a couple of months now, I joined over the summer. I've been doing well and losing weight and I feel good. but now I come to a dilemma. College Football starts this weekend, and I go to games every Saturday, I'm worried about putting some of my weight back on during tailgating with pretty much drinking nonstop. I feel that as long as I don’t drink so much and still get my workouts in every day, I should be alright. Any thoughts???

Thanks

  • Bust your tail during the week and don't cheat on your eating. Then, drink in moderation on Saturday and enjoy a couple of brats. Football season is tough but once you make it through a couple of tailgates without overindulging, you'll be good. Good luck man!
  • NO you need to drink more when working out but drink only water as much as possible. Energy drinks are packed with calories unless you're going to play a tough football game.

He's talking about drinking beer at the tailgate.
  • I'm in the same boat. I have season tickets to my college football team, University of Houston Cougars! (Go Coogs!). I just gotta take one Saturday at time, plan ahead and work out religiously before and after game day. My plan is to try to save some of my extra calories from the week for my Saturday splurge. I find that since I have been working out and watching my food intake it is alot harder to throw caution to the wind and over eat or drink. Feel free to friend me and we can try to keep each other on track during college football season.... That sounds funny most people have a problem during the holidays...lol

    ???
  • Alternate every beer with a bottle of water. You cannot have a beer until you finish the bottle of water!

Well if he were to start playing in the games, he would no longer be allowed to attend them.

    Problem solved.
  • Bring a football and throw it around. Good calorie burn chasing after it, plus you won't drink near as much if you are running around and using your hands to catch the ball...
