Stay Strong!!

Hey everyone! Due to some unforseen circumstances I had to move home for a couple of months. Since I've moved home I've really kept up with my working out and eating right. Tonight mom wanted to go to the bar and have a cheeseburger. Due to my work out, I had plenty of calories to still consume. So when we got there I splurged and had some chicken fingers and fries. When I only ate 3 chicken strips and just a couple fries (there was a ton of food left on my plate) my mom started giving me crap because I don't eat like I used to. I know she was kidding around, but I've been on MFP for 45 consecutive days and really trying. Sometimes I take things too hard at times, or being over sensitive, but I'm really trying to be healthy! So I understand the pressures from other people who look at you funny when you do treat yourself but you don't consume the whole thing or really trying to change your lifestyle!
Ever since I really started watching what I eat, I can't eat the amount of food I used to, I get full so much easier now. So I couldn't have eaten all my food if I tried.
So there is my rant. Those of you with some not so great influences or pressures, STAY STRONG! you can do this!!!

I've only been doing this for a few weeks, but I know what you mean about not being able to eat what you used to. If I overeat even a little then I feel horrible. I used to just feel really full, but now I feel sick. It's like my body is retraining itself to consume proper portions.0

It's a sign that our bodies are happy with the better food and smaller portions we are feeding it. It's hard to deal with our foodie friends and family that don't get it. Thankfully there is a place to vent were people do get it!0
