You mean keto, where you eat mainly protein and fat sources? The most effective way to do this diet (or any diet) is to 1. make sure it's a diet you can sustain and 2. make sure you're eating the calories the app gives you for weight loss. Do you feel this diet would fit your preferences? If yes, give it a try, track your calories, and see how you like it. If you don't like it, find a way of eating that you like, make sure you're eating the calories the app gives you for weight loss, and keep doing that until you lose the weight you need to lose.0

250 protein
150g fats0 -
That's roughly 2350+ calories (depending on how many carbs you eat on top of that). If that number is lower than what your body currently burns (depends on height/weight/activity level) you will lose some weight. If it's higher than what you currently burn based on those factors, you will gain weight. Limiting yourself to such a diet sounds miserable, though, and is not necessary at all. There are easier alternatives out there that will give you the same results.2

That's pretty random given that the OP told us nothing about their height weight or goals. Or even was very clear about what they meant in their post.2 -
I consulted dr. google and even it was confused by this, but it seems like it's some sort of "metabolic diet type" way of eating thing. Which means you don't need to follow it. Eat a calorie deficit. Get sufficient protein. There is no need to eat to so called specific diet or metabolic types. Don't make it harder than it needs. to be.4

Eating loads of protein and fat, and skipping carbs will make you *lose some weight* quickly in the beginning.
But it's all WATER. Unless you are cutting calories as well. Once you eat carbs again, it will come right back as glycogen/retained water.
Many people seem to think that Keto is a license to eat whatever they like as long as it's low carb. NOT TRUE. A tablespoon of fat, like butter or olive oil, is a whopping 100 calories or so. Add a few tablespoons of fat to a meal and you're not going to be burning your OWN fat anytime soon.
Calories do count, and what foods you eat do matter, much more than just their calories. We still need to weigh/measure/count calories until we can do it in our sleep. Too many calories, even with zero carbs, means you will gain weight.2
