2020 Goals

Get under 200 by the end of February. Midterm under 180 by summer. Long term is 170. My real long term goal is to keep the weight off and not get discouraged again when my weight loss slows down. I was down to 180 and got discouraged when I couldn’t go any lower. I think we all need to be kinder to ourselves and not look at this as a failure if the scale isn’t going down. Healthy decision are making you healthier, even if you can’t see it.

    I'm hoping to lose 50lbs. by December 2020, but I would like to lose 100 lbs. in total. About 5 lbs. per month will help me reach that 50 lbs. by December though. Going to tackle this a slow and steady pace.

    You're definitely right that we need to be kinder to ourselves. I just had this discussion about beating yourself up after the holidays. There are 365 days in the year. One or two days aren't going to hurt your progress if you really keep at it.
