Some of my family members love playing games whenever we get together. What are some of your favorites, whether board games or card games or whatever.

We played lots of Carcasonne over Christmas; love that game! Cards Against Humanity used to be a favorite but nobody brought it this year. My dh and I play Cribbage every day, occasionally Scrabble.

I played some game called Avacado with my nephew over Christmas. It was a pretty fun card game.

Cards Against Humanity. I have a very, dark and irreverent sense of humor as well as my friends so we are always trying to out do each other.

Another good one is Well That Was Awkward, a team based card game that is a mix of truth and dare and charades. Alcohol recommended to play to the full potential

Dragonwood us a fun shorter game that's a bit of luck and strategy together. If you like longer strategy games 7 wonders or terraforming mars are good. I have been playing betrayal legacy with some friends and it's awesome, if you have a group of 3-5 that consistently get together and play I recommend it, otherwise there is a non legacy version as well. I got pandemic for Christmas but have not cracked it open yet.

My ds and dd played Pandemic; I like that it's a cooperative game. I have a hard time comprehending rules and strategies so need the guidance. :) Just listening to them play, while cooking, confused me quite a bit. Another game we played was Fluxx, which I happened to win by sheer dumb luck of drawing the right card. It sure wasn't because I knew what I was doing. :)

I like playing Monopoly because I like seeing people take the game way to serious.

Skip Bo and Phase 10 for fans of Uno.

Phase 10 can get kinda heated, though.

Chameleon is a new favorite. Its a game of deception

Codenames is another favorite. Involves giving your team one word clues that they have to use to identify ‘agents’. Lots of room for misinterpretation, very addicting though.

We also love cover your assets. Easy to learn and super fun

looking forward to GTA 6...if it ever comes out...GTA 5 was the last game I really had fun with.

Slowly been playing South Park : The Fractured But Whole (name makes me laugh), game is kinda dumb tho...(sometimes mindless entertainment is good)

Non video games - I like poker kinda - I do good. People have to explain the game to me every time I play tho, 'cause cards are boring

I like Sudoku - my OCD goes rampant. I have a "formula"...

Good old fashioned crosswords are (sometimes) fun too -as long as they're not too hard and don't make me feel super stupid!
