Hi everyone!

I'm a busy full time working Mum to an 18 month old and am finding it increasingly difficult to find the time and motivation to exercise! I have lost a lot of the weight i wanted to lose and feel much more comfortable how i am - but i still have a little way to go yet.

I was doing 30 day shred on some evenings and exercise bike and aerobics once a week, but in the last 3-4 weeks i have barely done any exercise, apart from the odd walk at lunchtimes!

I found that trying to fit the exercise in after my son had gone to bed was stressing me out too much - i was getting annoyed with him if he didn't go to bed on time - but only because i wanted to exercise! It didn't seem fair and now that i am not stressing about doing it life is a little bit more relaxed.

So anyway - does anybody have any tips about how i can fit some exercise into my day without becoming obsessed about it!

Thanks! :flowerforyou:

    Hey,

get one of those workout DVD's. The Davina McColl workout DVD is pretty good and you can get ones that have ten minute workouts and stuff. I've used them before but now I just go to the gym cause I have the time. Try it out. Sure you can get a cheap one from amazon! :-D

I have a 4 year old and a 15 month old so I know how you feel. I try to incorporate some exercising into playing. Like outside we have races across the yard or down the street. Jumping rope, hula hooping, skipping, jumping... all things kids love to do and will do it with you. When mine are doing their own thing or napping, I try to do strength training type of things and workout in the evening when my hubby is home.

    Hope this helps some.
