Newbie with M.E/CFS

Could do with some supportive MFP pals who find it difficult to exercise and rely on diet to lose weight. I am 33 have three kiddies and I have M.E not helped by the fact that I am a tad overweight.

    It's a post viral condition that leaves the suffferer with chronic fatigue, muscle pain and a whole host of other symptoms. I've had it for many years now and am very fortunate to lead a pretty normal life with support from my husband. I think they might call it CFS in the States

    I also have CFS, though mine is non-viral. 31 in the US with 3 boys, one of which is a husband. lol

    Hi all, I have M.E. I've been ill for 7 years. I was doing really well until March when I had a huge relapse. I can now only walk about 50 paces. I HATE my body since I've been ill as I've constantly gained weight though lack of exercise. It's so frustrating as I used to be very fit.

    Hi, I just found this website last week and have only just finished my first week of dieting with MFP. I too have ME /CFS and have not been able to do any exercise as I am having a bad spell at the moment. Have been doing too much helping my elderly parents. I've had ME for 15 years and had a stroke 3 years ago so it's about time I tried to do something about all this excess weight I have gained over the 15 years of Ill health, and you know what? I'm not finding it too hard using this site, and I've lost 2lbs in my first week which has really spurred me on
