Hello. I have just connected my Fitbit flex to fitness pal. I have walked 13000 steps today and it’s saying I have only burned 32 calories. Is this an error?

Did you enter all your stats of weight, height, body fat%, etc.?

If you don't complete your profile with height, weight ..ect it might not be able to calculate right.

What do you have your activity level set at for MFP?

I just looked into how mine works.

Basically, MFP estimates how many calories you burn and subtracts that from what the Fitbit says you burned. Using my numbers today:

Fitbit says I've burned 2870 so far, MFP estimates I burned 2658, so my exercise calories are 212.

I've only taken 4800 steps so far and don't go the the gym for another hour or so.

If you go to the "exercise" tab, then click on the little "i" by the Fitbit Calorie adjustment it shows the breakdown.
