Been loosing a lot of weight after separation that caused depression and anxiety. Went from 125 to 112 pounds on a 5’1’’ frame. Been trying everything to gain weight. But appetite is not always there. Been eating close to 1700 calories a day

Have you tried adding something like Ensure? Just drink it like medicine whether you feel hungry or not. Also, high fat foods such as avocados and nuts and nut butter can help you eat more without feeling stuffed. I’m sorry to hear you’re having a rough time and hope the new year brings brighter days!1

That does make it trickier! You still have all the oils though, try some good olive oil or sesame oil and put it on veggies. Just a little bit of high fat foods such as a handful of nuts and extra dressing on a salad can add up to several hundred more calories in a day without really seeming like much food.2

I would eat nuts and seeds and oils. An easy way is adding sunflower seeds to salad and adding full fat dressing, adding oils to vegetables, and chia, flaxseed, and nuts to oatmeal. I'm trying to up my fats a bit and that's what I do as I prefer healthier fats (have no gallbladder). Fatty meat too.0
