I can’t see my profile.. can’t see my feed etc. I am surprised community works. I CAN access my diary and update my weight so I did that. Sometimes my diary freezes so since it has been pissing me off I just have been logging my calories on a calculator on my phone for now. Anyone else having issues with the app AND website ?

I have no feed, nor can I see any friends. This app has lost its mind4

I can see most of the standard stuff, but cannot see my profile, and my news feed is broken. I can see my friends. I have checked this in both the app and website, and have done the standard clearing of the cache, etc. and no change.
On the up side, I can now see all my meals/foods for the diary. Wish it would stop being so buggy though. Badges were not worth this trouble at all.2 -
I do not have any newsfeed either. It happened yesterday ( 12/21/19) and corrected itself a little later. Now this morning it is doing it again. Hope the issue is corrected and remains corrected.

Yes, same thing here. At least I can log my food and sometimes log my exercise. No newsfeed, no profile.1 -
To be fair to the programmers, most sites shut down completely when making updates. They are obviously attempting to keep some functions up and running while making changes. And working during the holidays to be ready for the new year.6

glitches are gonna happen. I just wish they would post a banner saying they are working on it like they have in the past. It's helpful to know what's going on altho they probably can't give us an expected fix timeframe.6
-
Yep.. no profile. Hopefully it will work soon.1

Some warning of the maintenance window would have been nice, though.15 -

They used to long ago but since UA purchased them the site has become overly bloated and communications has become virtually non existent.5 -

I totally agree. A warning would be good.
Funny story. After defending the programmers, my breakfast completely disappears! And it was a new smoothie with a bunch of ingredients that all had unique specific weights in grams. Hoping it reappears.7 -
The news feed is valuable to me. I hope it is returned to service soon.4

Let's just posit that Under Armor doesn't think of MFP as its crown jewel.
I used to use a website/forum that started to malfunction and the users just kinda ignored the problems and kept going. The problems stacked on top of each other until the whole thing came crashing down, at which point everyone discovered there'd been no one in charge for over a year - literally no one monitoring the site at all, just users using it until it fell apart LOL4 -
Since UA purchased MFP, it's just been one problem after another, each getting worse as time goes on. Let's face it, all they wanted was our emails so they can send up ad after ad to purchase their overpriced gear (Yes, it's good gear, but STILL!)
And @Igfrie ...was that site, by any chance, called Calorie Count? I left for a few months, and came back to find it GONE! Still miss that place, it was SO much better than MFP!1 -
I had posted last week that my husband heard that UA was in financial trouble. I got a response stating that the rumor was untrue. These types of ongoing, unresolved problems makes me wonder how long MFP will continue to exist and whether I'll continuing using this sight.0

No, it was a site for hot pepper growers. Back in 2010-2014, I was extensively growing habaneros, fatalis, jalapenos, etc. as a hobby. It might not sound like something that'd have a huge user base, but there were quite a few of us, all on one site with a discussion forum, articles, etc. The site started to fall apart and later we found out the founder had lost interest in it and left, it was literally unmonitored until it completely collapsed LOL0 -
Hope they fix it soon1

QuickAdd hasn't been working properly for weeks. It just says "saving" forever. If you exit that page, it turns out the calories did get added. (It's not my computer or browser as this happens at work and at home.)
Have also had various errors on the website like the main page not loading (at all), exercise calories getting added wrong like 3 calories for 30 minutes of kickboxing even when the right number was displayed when I checked the box to add the exercise, etc.1 -
Hey all - confirming the issues from yesterday with newsfeed and server errors was temporarily fixed and started reoccurring overnight. We are looking into it and will post updates here:

I found this message using another search engine for MFP. Hopefully, they get things working again. Thought you all may want to see this. It was posted at 1:40 on 12/22/19. It looks like MFP is aware of the problem.

I'm not sure about this. The site has always been incredibly buggy. I doubt this was planned. The newsfeed disappeared for literally weeks earlier this year. They have a "the site is down for maintenance" thing that the could throw up if it was that. But I think it's just things breaking, like normal. Could be or could not be related to the implementation of badges.3 -
This is Alex's answer in another thread.Hey all - confirming the issues from yesterday with newsfeed and server errors was temporarily fixed and started reoccurring overnight. We are looking into it and will post updates here:

I just tried to log my dinner and the search results keep showing me foods in Greek or Russian. That would be awesome if I could read Greek or Russian but since English is what I’m searching for, these results are useless. I’ve updated the app but nothing helps. This app went from awesome to meh over time and I hope things improve.7

I can't access my food diary at all. Same yesterday, though it did come back a couple of hours later.

My info on MFP on my iPhone and iPad aren’t synching. I’ve been using the app on both for over five years and this is quite unusual.0

MFP's technical problems are waaaaaaay beyond "glitch" at this point.1

Feed is down again on both the mobile app and the computer site. SMH, they seriously just can't get it together! HOWEVER, you can still log food, and on the computer app you can add exercise... but once you've added, you can't go back later and add another exercise, it just gives error messages. The exercise thing has been driving me nuts for WEEKS now, but the feed just went down again this morning. SO glad I never paid for this app!0

Ugh, that "can't log second exercise" issue was driving me crazy last year but I thought it was finally fixed0
