Hello everyone,
Happy new year to you all!
I’m not new, but this is the first time I’ve posted on here and this may not be the right place but I’m hoping for some advice.
I’m 49, fairly fit. I have been weight training for nearly a year but have noticed I just can’t seem to tighten up. I’m 5’5” and 10 st (have put on half a stone since lifting). I know I have some fat to lose but it feels like my skin is loose 😟 is there anything I can do to combat this at my age? It’s especially noticeable on my back (pic below)

All thoughts welcome 🙏

    Not that this advice is what you are looking for especially as I am not a lifter is - you look good, don't sweat the small stuff. I saw something about Cosmo writing an article on how to make elbows look better which is just nuts! You look good, if you can accept yourself you are way ahead of many people you may consider 'prettier' or 'fitter'.

    I am 49, 55lbs down and 25lbs to go, I have, and will increasingly have, the loose skin issue. It is my battle scar, the battle I won at a price. It will remind me of how I became a better version of me.

    Thank you 🙏 I know it’s small stuff really having lost 5st over past years. You’re so right, the battle is won, just bearing the battle scars. Good luck with shedding the last 25lbs my friend 🏋️‍♀️🌸
