Hey to anyone who bothers to read this!
So I’m a 33 year old struggling Type 1 diabetic. I’ve had the Illness for like 6/7 years now but the last 2 years I’ve been really poorly. I’m 6ft 3inch and at my worst I dropped to 10stone 3lbs. I’ve managed to hit a high calorie dense diet and I’m currently cruising along well at 12stone 5lbs and still increasing.
I joined the gym a week before christmas and it was pathetic how week I was. Slowly getting stronger, slowly putting the weight back on and I’m increasing other support options such as this app for example!
Happy to engage and talk with others 👍🏻

            Hi mate
Congrats on putting on the 2 stone
And getting in the gym, don’t worry too much about the weights, just try and get it consistent and the strength and gains will come1

            Great job. Keep it up!
I’m getting back into the gym more, at least trying to. Between work, life, back and knee issues...it’s exhausting.1

Hi @watts6151 yeh so I’m real pleased with the initial 2 stone I’ve loaded on, it’s been a lot of eating to be honest just to get me to the weight where I should have already been before being poorly, but at least I know I can do it with the right diet and attitude for exercise.
I’ll stay consistent 👍🏻 I’m already getting addicted to the progress0
