Hi my name is annmarie and I'm from a small town near London england.
In June I'm going to be 40 and have recently been told that I have mild arthritis in my hips. For the last 6 years I have been on and off diets and have ended up weighing more than ever before. I have around 55 pounds to loss to get into a healthy weight. I always start off really good but within 4 weeks start to slip back into my bad habits. I just need motivation to keep on track 😔😔😔

You can do it. Take it one day at a time and do not think of it as 55 pounds to lose or you will feel overwhelmed. Sometimes there are days where I have to take it one meal at a time, or even hour by hour on a particularly difficult day. Also, if you have one bad day, pick yourself up and move on. Do not let one day derail all your hard work.

    Hi Annemarie!

I have been successful on here with 100+ loss. I am 40 as well with the worst arthritic knees weighing my heaviest at 256 now at 116. My knees feel alot better but they wrecked due to the added weight. If you send me a friend request we can cheer and motivate 1 another. I have plenty of progress photos along my journey! My only advice is make small changes at first and stick to an eating plan that you can follow forever not just a fad diet. Eat to satisfy your nutrition goals and exercise goals.
