Just transitioned to plant-base lifestyle, trying to become a better healthier version of me! We can do this!1

I, too, just switched to a plant-based diet, but still eat a tad of lean meat.
What I am finding, is juicing my veggies in the morning, keeps the cravings for sugar away, and still lets me have a good dinner.
Lost 3.6 pounds in 6 days, but haven't weighed myself since.
I'm on about week 2.5.

That's awesome! It's definitely doable. The best way to do it though is to stay away from the "junk vegan" food. If you eat clean vegan (limit the processed foods) and exercise the weight should be easy to lose.1

5 years ago I was an (old) vegan with 30 lbs to lose, and MFP made it easy. I'm still here and maintaining. (For me, maintaining is the hard part). I try to stick to wfpb but I occasionally lapse with eggs or dairy when away from home. My cooking is very quick and basic. Feel free to add me!0
