Tonight my wife and I were out shopping in part of Atlanta that we rarely go to...and when dinner time came around, we rode around and that's when I saw it!!! A sign that simply said "grilled fish and chicken" I slammed on the brakes and pulled in...the place was called Boneheads, and the before mentioned was their specialty...Oh man, I was loving it...a beautiful piece of Grilled Salmon (hold the bed of rice please), 2 slices of grilled zucchini, and about a cup of chilled broccoli and onion salad with a Mich Ultra to wash it down...perfection!! The salmon came with about a tbs of their signature sauce, which set it off perfectly...all in all it was the perfect meal...portions were satisfying and the taste was out of this world!!
Anyone else have a favorite restaurant story to share??

I love flat top grill! It's mongolian, which means that you go up and put what you want to eat in a bowl and they cook it. I always feel good when I go there. I get mostly rice, and some veggies, sauce and meat. Then they have this delicious flat bread. So good! (It's like going to Olive Garden for the breadsticks).0

There is this sushi place in town called Tokyo Sushi (not the chain, this is a privately owned restaurant by some local Japanese people)... THE BEST sushi I have ever had! (I never eat raw fish, always the cooked ones on my plate! My usual always includes a dynamite roll (hold the orange fish eggs ), ebi (sweet shrimp), and Gyosa (dumplings). I love the house tea (it has a nice woodsy taste to it). Every time I go there I feel so good when I leave. All relaxed and light. Not sick like I just ate a bunch of Micky D's.0

My new favorite is not a chain. It's the Garden Room in Iron Mountain Mi. If your ever in the area stop in. Delicious food with fresh flavors. I don't live there but drive through and always stop whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Deserts are wonderful too! It's always good. And the waitstaff is very friendly!0

My favorite restaurant is Country Buffet or Ponderosa.....KIDDING!
Mine is like BonnieJo's. It's called Hu Hot. It is a Mongolian grill where you pick your frozen meat and veggies and have them cook it for you. The website has the nutritional values so you don't pick a sauce high in sodium. It's absolutely fabulous and an hour away. Just wish it was closer to me....or maybe I don't.0 -
We have a place called Tijuana Taxi down here, I guess the specialty is certainly mexican but they are reallycool with special requests and all that. My fave is Ixtapa (5 oz of skirt steak & a four shrimp grilled on a kabob) accompanied with veggies. I try to keep my chips and salsa to a minimum so I pick between them and a beer.0

Oops, I failed to mention that this same meal was bf and my favorite even before we started watching what we ate. He'd get the Ixtapa but with mexican rice and mashed potatoes as his sides :noway: we kid about it now.0 -

I'm so jealous -- we used to have a Mongolian grill here, but they sold out... miss that place..
Now I like a place called "Go Fish" in Mystic, CT.. Best seafood around - and fantastic sushi..0
