Welcome! I started last February at 220 and am currently at 168 working toward 150 this next year. Just remember to log your food (get a food scale if you don't have one) and don't beat yourself up when you slip up. I like to give myself a "free eating" day once a week, which sounds more positive than "cheat day," and that helps a lot.2

Hi there! If you'd like to add me, I have similar goals to you. I was 201lb in September and dropped to 191.6lb in December prior to counting calories and exercising. I've been calorie counting since 12/8/19 and have lost 9.8lbs doing cardio and weight training 3-4x a week. I would still like to lose about 50-60lbs and would like to meet my goal by August (will most likely work my way up to 5x-6x a week for cardio and 4x for strength training in the next two months). It is a little hard at first, but once you set your mind to it, it's easier to stay committed. I agree with the post above me as well. Don't deny your self the stuff you want and incorporate it into your calories and don't beat yourself up over an "indulgent" day. I usually "indulge" once a week as well.0

I have lost 30 lbs but have another 40 to go. We all seem to be in the same boat!
