Wondering how many calories and fat protein carbs I need to lose weight fast while breastfeeding ?

Losing weight fast isn't necessarily what you should be aiming for when breastfeeding, depending on your goals. You need to be consuming plenty of calories in order for your body to then make food for your baby. On average, exclusively breastfeeding a baby burns about 500 extra calories a day. I personally would recommend you either A) set your goal to lose 1 lb a week and then add another 500 on top of that or B ) set your goal to maintain current weight and then breastfeeding will create a calorie deficit for you and you should lose weight. I would monitor your progress and adjust your calorie goal up or down from there, and if you notice any drop in milk supply, eat more. And stay hydrated. I am currently breastfeeding my 5 month old6
