Hi folks, is there a way to add additional nutrients to the MFP list? I wanted to track vitamin B and the Omega fats if possible
Thanks in advance!

Not that I'm aware of. However, even if there is, don't expect anything to be accurate if you're selecting entries from the database. Many entries don't even have all the info for what's given on food packaging, never mind nutrients that aren't listed on the packet - some people just add entries with only the calories per 100g or whatever; I regularly update and add fats, carbs, sugar, protein, sodium etc to correct anything I want to use.

Since there are no fields for vitamin B or omega fats when you create an MFP database entry, I'm going to say no.

If it is something you really want to track you can try Chronometer. I think you have to enter everything from the labels yourself though if I remember correctly. So it will probably be more time consuming than MFP.

Agree with Cronometer, however the database is much better than MFP and is fairly expansive. Its also free. Unless it is a new item not in their database you don't have to add everything. Even if you do add a new item its verified by photos of the label and nutritional profile which the admins verify.

You don't have to enter everything from the labels yourself, but generally (IME) only "ingredients" have the micronutrients included (that is, you won't get it for brand name items). So if you're cooking a lot from scratch, you get a pretty good picture of your micronutrient intake, but it doesn't work so well if you're eating out a lot or choosing a lot of pre-made/convenience foods.

https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings Nutrients Tracked does not have an option for B or Omega fats, so no.

Also, since those are not required to be on labels, what you get from the MFP database would not be accurate anyway.
