Introduction

Hey guys and gals! My name is Jessica and I have been on here before years ago. I am 20 years old and I want to make a change in my life. So I’ve started with a low carb/high protein diet and it’s been going really well so far. It’s been one week since I’ve started and my starting weight was 225lbs. One week later and I’m already down to 220lbs! I know it’s a really fast pace to lose weight but this diet seems to be working for me! I am excited to start this journey again and this time I’m going to stick to it!!

    Congratulations and nice to have you back to the community! Great job on your progress, you're doing way better than me so far lol. Are you incorporating any exercises along with your diet? How are you keeping your carbs low?

    Thank you! I have been doing small exercises at home but nothing too major. I don’t eat anymore than 20g of carbs a day. How I’ve been doing it is I substitute my breakfasts with protein shakes and then I eat a lot of meat, cauliflower, spinach, etc. as most meats that come unseasoned have absolutely no carbs and some veggies have very little carbs as well. I also bought some bread substitutes from thinslimfoods.com as they have low carb breads and sweets. So far, things have been looking up!
