    My husband waking up after a night of debauchery just to accompany me to buy an everyday purse and proceeded to carry all the shopping bags. I did buy him a fresh squeezed lemonade which made him happy and then treated him to lunch and a margarita. He was even more happy.

    People being nice have such an amazing positive impact on my day, whether I even know them or not. Strangers that make happy small talk, hold the door open for me, or remember to say thanks, just small respectful polite daily interactions. It simply doesn't happen often enough anymore. :(

    Other small things that make a big day for me:
    morning cup of coffee
    my dogs wagging their tails or cuddling with me
    doing something helpful for someone I love
    a good book
    laughing like I mean it
    warmer weather and sunshine *sigh*
    thinking about spring gardening
    knowing my 3 adult kids are safe and sound, happy and healthy
    (not necessarily in that order :))

    Good sleep is a good reason to be happy.
    I hardly can sleep more that 4 hrs straight.

    I called my husband and told him bring my sweater you know the fuzzy one it’s in the guest room. He said there’s 20 of them! I said forget it. He walked out with the right one. He said I knew which one you wanted. Awww
