Trouble with FitBit syncing?

I have MyFitnessPal connected to my Fitbit for some odd reason it does not sync on it's own I normally have to disconnect an reconnect. Sometimes that does even help. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had these problems or how to fix it?

    I’ve had sync issues with MFP and Fitbit for over a week now. It syncs when it wants to. I’ve seen several posts about it so you’re not alone.

    It's a bummer, I hope they can get it fixed mfp os the only one that you dont have to pay for it to have your fitbit connected it seems.

    I thought the same but followed the above instructions and it worked! Now back to syncing normally
