newbie needing to lose a lot of weight

Hello everyone, I am a 50+ year old mom that has gained over 100 lbs, I need to lose 60 lbs to start with. I cant do keto because i have no gallbladder and on blood pressure meds. Looking to friend anyone that can offer advice back and forth or who is struggling also. Day one of my journey

Hi,
Welcome some stuff to focus on
Go thru the apps calculator set it for 1 lb a week.
Get a food scale and start tracking everything as accurately as possible
You don't need to drastically shift diet all at once small sustained changes are much better long term then short bursts of dramatic unsustainable changes
You got this.
We all stuggle with this. I lost 83 then stopped tracking and gained back 30 and now iam losing again down 4.
Try a weight trending app i use libra but i hear happy scale is good on iphone because your weight will fluctuate every day. Trend is what matters
You don't need to do keto or any trendy diet you simply need to consume less then you burn calories.2 -
