50+ With 50+ to lose

Hi all I have been tracking and using the app for about 3 weeks now and have been doing pretty good so far, but I know from past experience without support from others in my situation I will end up dropping off. I don’t want to repeat the pattern, I can’t! I am motivated to lose weight and get my sugar levels down out of the pre-diabetic range. I am also motivated to keep going so I can enjoy photographing ghost towns with my husband. I’m looking for friends here so we can keep each other accountable and to offer suggestions.

Hey! Count me in! I’m pretty much in the same boat. New to this site as well!

Count me in too! I'm 50 in 2 years and have at least 50lbs to lose. I started today with logging my food and heading to the gym for a swim tonight. I have to do this! Being menopausal and also on medication for arthritis means that everything has slowed down but can't keep using that as an excuse! I have cupboards of lovely clothes and my husband is planning a big holiday in 2022 for my 50th so want to feel great (not just good!). Happy for friends to help along the way for accountability and moral support :)

YAY! We can do this!!! I had my regular dr appt today and was happy that they did not diagnose me as diabetic. I have 6 months until my next round of blood work, so I am going to be working hard to keep on track! How are you all doing the last few days?
