These are mine. Yeah, they might be tacky, but they're MINE. There are lyrics included with both and written in the hand of someone I care about a lot, so nyah.

Is it weird that I don't want a tattoo, but want to feel the tattoo gun? Like a clear tattoo!

I kinda want a my skin coloured tattoo on my freckles - is that a thing?

There is a such thing as a UV/blacklight tattoo. Which looks invisible under normal light.

I'm a fan and have both! I tend to like color tattoos better. As far as pain tolerance, I feel like mine is pretty high, I feel like I can sit through tattoos and piercings knowing it will only be painful for a matter of time!!

I love tattoos and have 7 so far...
I have one that covers about 1/4-1/3 of my back, and I would really like to just have my whole back done. But I would want the same artist, and since she is in Hawaii, it would be more expensive for me to get to her, than to get the actual tattoo! lol
So I may just have to get someone else, or leave it.....
Pain tolerance was pretty high. I had a decent amount on my spine and while it hurt, I barely flinched. The tattoo artist said I got her "primo" flowers because I didn't move and she could get all the little details she wanted in there.
My back piece was the most expensive. Probably cost about $1K and took 5 sessions (outline, shading, color, color, touchups). I wanted to get the color done in one sitting, but holy hell that hurt! So we split it into 2. Compared to the coloring, the outline and shading was a cakewalk.
    I have
a small purple Celtic trinity behind my ear
a black tribal design on my right big toe
a black tribal rose design on my upper thigh
a black and red tribal rose design just under the other one
a black Sag symbol surrounded by blue flames on my lower left hip
a small black intertwined Alpha and Omega symbol on my right wrist
and the big one on my black is Polynesian tribal with 3 large hibiscus flowers, 1 plumeria, and a hummingbird (the bird is in memory of my grandmother who loved hummingbirds). The plumeria flower is at the top of the design and almost in the middle of my back right on the spine.

With piercings, I have 2 holes in each ear.
I tried to get a 3rd hole twice in my left ear, but it got infected both times. So I gave up. Those are the only piercings I have ever had.

Do ears count? They are pretty much closed up. I wanted a tattoo a few years back but couldn’t decide on the design....🤦🏻‍♀️

I have a passenger pigeon on my left forearm and my babe's paw on my right forearm. On my leg I have a blue heart with waves crashing inside it.

I want to get a turkey for the same arm as my passenger pigeon and when my cat passes, I'll get her paw as well.

My 27 yo dd has tattoos and I love them! I've often wanted to get something small and simple but have yet to actually do it. :/ I'd want it someplace where *I* could see it though. Something like a star constellation or a dandelion with fluff blowing away, that type of thing. Or a statement that really says something about who I am.
Piercings- just did my ears when I was 13 and back then most people used 'sleepers', which took 1-2 weeks to work their way through the ear lobes. Anyone else remember those?

Did you just do all that? I don't remember seeing all those tattoos on one of the pics you posted in the past?

I have a polychrome backpiece and pierced ears. I like play piercing but don't have any other permanent ones.

They hurt, but it was good pain except the bit right over my kidneys. THAT made me sweat.

I lost count of my tattoos, at this point they have becoming more of a mural of tattoos that all blend together. I also have 8 ear piercings, naval and nose.

Are you a fan? LOVE tattoos, like some piercings more than others, but I do love getting tatted and pierced.

Do you have any? Just one piercing - my nose. Tattoos - i'm a work in progress. I have 4 on my right forearm. About 3/4 a full sleeve on my left arm. 2 finger tats, collarbone, sternum, and hip.

Are you preparing for any? Plan to finish my left arm completely this year, as well as start on my hands by getting my knuckles done.

Pain tolerance? High, i've fallen asleep while getting tattooed. I just got an addition to my sleeve on Saturday, and it's on the back of my upper arm, kinda tricep area and it is so badly bruised which apparently is normal! I've never had bruising before, so I was kinda freaked out but luckily it doesn't hurt like a bruise normally would.

Price? Just my left arm has me in around $2000. No idea on the total for everything. I take advantage when my artist has cancellations and get additions for a discount :)

Colour or black and grey? I prefer black and grey. I have two small colored ones, but for specific reasons.

Favourite style? My personal style is not related too closely to "traditional" but I don't exactly know how to describe it.

Not a fan of tatoos. I can't believe that people mutilate themselves PERMANENTLY. Not smart.

I don't think you get to dictate whether it's "smart" or "mutilation". Skin is pretty versatile as far as an organ is concerned and the majority of folks who have tattoos and piercings view them as art, because they are.
