ok im currently just done week 3 of a c25k week 1 was dying week 2 even worse week 3 thought was going to die so after a dreadfull start i decieded to talk to the gym girl instructers i dont know whatt it is but no guys seem to run in my town all women on the course and jog leader girl 2 nothing against girls but its harder to take when a lil old lady is lapping you so anyway i spoke to the gym instructer at my local gym where im am currently trying to stick to 1800-2000 cal 5days out of 7 im usually dong treadmill elipictal rowing machine and spin love my spin classes so i said to gym girl well im dying when joging and spin aint this hard i can do spin easy now she said well im not trying hard enough in spin if i can say spin is easy i then went to her spin class and she has now withdrawn that i dont try hard lol but im looking for advice my next jogging class is on monday i really dont want to be last again lol any tips or things i can do to improve my running

I don't know if others will agree with me but I don't think that you can just be generally fit. Every exercise requires different muscles and motivation, so in your spin class you are motivated by the music, the instructor and others but out there on the road, you only have yourself to motivate you. I find it incredibly difficult. I find it easier on the treadmill cos I can see the time ticking and that keeps me going but generally I find running really difficult. Interested to hear what others say.0
