Stubborn last 10 lbs-what's a girl to do?

Hi! I hope someone out there has this or a similar situation. I am have been exercising and keeping my calorie count between 1000 and 1200 calories per day. After 6 weeks I have lost 5 lbs which works for me. My question is this: I know I can not go any lower in my calorie count and the exercise I do is adequate. Without spending my entire day exercising, how can I loose the last 10 lbs? Any and all ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You just keep doing what you're doing. It's obviously working...1

Considering you lost 5 pounds in 6 weeks I would just keep doing what you’re doing. It will come in time.1

You've only been at it 6 weeks, it's still working, carry on. Although I have to say, 1000 calories is extremely low, women are advised to have a minimum of 1200 per day to reach their basic nutritional needs. And for most women, even 1200 is way too low, you'd still lose (just more slowly and likely sustainably) on a less aggressive deficit.15

I'm exactly the same but with 7lbs to lose. Been at a plateau for about 6 weeks, just think we need to keep going,0

Try a different exercise - new class, different exercise routines on different days. Maybe up your calories a bit to give your body something to work on (like priming a pump)0

TIME is your friend. AS long as your daily diet is sustainable and it leads you to your goals. The results will be come in time. {Cliche maybe?}
The plateau effect is very real in weight-loss. Depending on a variety of factors this effect can happen rarely or often.
Just gotta stay the path.
Slowly losing weight is the preferable and healthy way to go. IMO
With that being said, If you are overweight than the above advice should be relevant.
But, if you are near the bottom of your BMI and you are below 15% body fat than I would say re-evaluate what you think a healthy weight should be for your body type. Nutritional deficits can be extremely harmful.0 -

Your body is not a pump and it does not need to be primed.
OP, if all you have to lose is 10 more pounds, then the problem here is unrealistic expectations. Many people—most likely including you—lose a lot of water weight quickly when they begin restricting calories. Weight loss should then settle into a safe pace of fat loss.
For someone with 10 pounds to lose, 0.5 lb/week is the fastest pace you should be targeting, and the scale will not go down every week.
Many people with this small deficit find that they must weigh and log ALL food to avoid wiping out their deficit with small errors. It may also take 4-6 weeks for the scale to go down a pound or two, so you need to be patient and consistent.
You should NOT be eating under 1200 calories per day. However, most people who don’t use a food scale are actually eating more than they think they are, so hopefully your actual calorie intake is not this low.5 -
Try measuring as well as weighing - when I was near the end I found that my weight was not shifting but as I got fitter the measurements went down.0

Do you use a food scale? The last ten pounds require serious accuracy.
