Hello, I'm new to myfitnesspal! This is the first time in my life I'm counting calories. I've always followed the Weight Watchers plan. I'm confused about the calories the app says I can have. I'm not using all of them. I'm approximately 500 under every day. However, when I add up what I've consumed in the Weight Watchers app, I'm at my limit. Does myfitnesspal give me my maintenance calories or my calories to lose weight?

Go through the guided set-up again and check. If you forget to select to lose 1 pound per week (500 calorie daily deficit) then select it. Otherwise it is included.

It gives you what you asked for. Did you set a goal (like 1 lb/week loss)?
It is often different from WW, because the WW goals are low to allow for all the supposedly free foods.
You should not eat much below your goal, especially not 500 cals, which is a lot. What is your goal and what were the inputs?4 -
If you input all of your #'s correctly, it should be giving you the #'s that it takes to reach your goals. After that, logging everything is important. It does give you offset calories for your exercise, but most people feel that you should only eat back about 1/2 of those calories due to the perception that the app gives you too many calories back.1

Many people find that what they're "allowed" on WW is lower than their calorie goal on sites like MFP. This is likely because WW incorporates "free foods" and MFP doesn't. To maximize chances of weight loss while eating "free foods," WW sets a points goal that is much lower than your actual calorie goal.
Your calorie goal on MFP can be set to lose, gain, or maintain weight -- you choose that when you're setting up your goals.5 -

Agreed. Just to add, WW also has the weekly points and has to allow for those as well as the free foods.1
