I'm sorry. I am not great about "talking" to my friends on MFP, either. I go in spurts.0
-
Whoa, who said that???
Nah, I'm kidding. Maybe you just need more supportive friends0 -
I think the same thing some times. I wish it had a thing that alerted you when you had a new comment, like facebook does. I really try to reply to every comment that people say but really without a notification I don't know if they replied to it... so confusing. I wish you luck0

I'm guilty of not responding. I'm usually looking at a time when I shouldn't and I mean to get back but I usually don't. Don't take it personally.0
-
Im pretty talkative...Ill add you and then we can chat.0
-
Maybe because you don't have a head?0

sent you a friend request. I am able to check MFP when slow at work so I stay fairly active on here.0

I have great friends on here, but I can always use more, I check on here at night and am always wanting to chat and give encouragement. You can add me if you would like.:bigsmile:0

thanks everyone i shall add away, and yes i do have a head it's holding my eye balls up (just about), i meant i ask questions or show support and other comment and they reply to them but ignore me0

haven't read the rest of the responses, but after reading your profile my instinct is that a lot of people on MFP have serious weight issues (not all, but a lot) and might not be able to relate to your situation. I know when I read earlier that someone posted about how hard it was to weigh 129 lbs when she usually weighed 123 I had to log off because I couldn't think of anything to say that was encouraging or sympathetic. All I could think was "are you effing kidding me?! I weigh over FOUR HUNDRED POUNDS! my GOAL weight is 170 after surgery. all I can think is GET OVER YOURSELF." However I realize this isn't helpful or positive.0

aww. I feel so bad because I know what you mean. I try to reply to my peeps and it's so hard with work and gym. I do try my best to squeeze in some mfp time.0 -
I get inspiration from all the posts I read, whether it's great advice or just a snippet that I can relate to. Either way I get something from it, often just what I need. The posts spur me on, cheer me up, make me smile, empathisize that I'm not the only one struggling sometimes, and we all have one thing in common - wanting to look after ourselves and lose weight/increase fitness etc. So....
I guess what I am trying to say, sometimes I don't reply but I read the post and it's great. Keep it up, sometimes I find people respond, sometimes they don't. It doesn't mean you are being ignored necessarily. We're all busy people and should probably take more time to support others, but I find when I've time, I do just that. Not every time, and not every day. Hang in there.
And if you want to add me as a friend, we can spur eachother on.... big hugs...

I know the feeling I have only few friends, but when they reply to me, it's really worth it
I also think that Kirabelly might have a point there, but still, I know it sucks. I have gotten used to being ignored in my real life too, and sometimes it's easier that way. I can do what ever I want without anyone noticing0 -
