Hey all! What have you found to be the best scale to use at home? We have one that goes up to like 400 that we bought from walmart. Issue is, it can jump up or down 10 pounds at will. So we never know our weight for sure. The doctor has told us that no matter what scale, usually anyone over 250 will have issues with any scale because they dont read properly over that.......need one that does good for between 300-350, and below....since that is the goal!

Thanks all in advance.

You want a scale that is dead accurate and can handle very large people?

    Tanita HD351.

    Problem solved.

    Weight capacity: 440 pounds.

It doesn't connect to the Internet, take your heart rate, or connect to apps. It only does one thing: tell you how much you weigh. But it does that supremely well, as well as any doctor's office scale. Mine is never off, even by 0.2 of a pound.

There are some "high capacity" scales out there, including some I found on Amazon that go up to 550 or even more. Some of those cost a lot more than you probably paid, though.

If you don't want to invest in a more expensive scale, then I might just find a scale that you can use on a routine basis. If you have a gym membership, for example, some gyms have beam scales like the ones at many doctor's offices. You might also ask your doctor whether you could stop in, say, once a week or once every other week for a weigh-in on their scale. They might be willing to just check your weight without charging you for an office visit.

I use Withings. I love it. It provides body fat, water retention and muscle mass - possibly not accurately against the proper scan machines but if you use it regularly, at least you can see where there are changes. It connects to my phone and the feeds the weight data into MFP for me.
