Hi, I'm a nurse from Missouri, and I have had a long journey to get to this point, and what seemed before insurm.ountable odds on my path, but I finally found the strength to take first steps. I've been battling some significant health issues the last couple of years, including a colon perforation, pulmonary embolism and now a big hernia that needs repair along with a 5cm tear in my abdominal muscles. Yesterday I compounded this by dislocating my right knee. Before I would have let that throw me into a downward spiral, but this time I'm not going to let that happen. I just started again a couple of weeks ago, and now staying encouraged, and motivated might be hard, but trying my best to get and stay there. So many people have such inspiring stories, and hoping one day I'll have a success story to join the rest.
