    Raw? Most labels will list nutrition label a cooking method, which as I mentioned, reduces the the fat content of it so the fat to protein ratio will change. That will bring it if well done to about 70-30 fat to protein. If you don't cook it well done, there will be more fat. Here is nutrition for it raw. Claims of 5% carbs is basically due to rounding on portion sizes. In reality it is maybe 1% at most.

    Just wondering if it's possible the two of you are talking about different products as the amount of fat in what's sold as bacon in different English-speaking countries isn't always the same (some comes from belly, some from back, etc.).

    Belatedly it occurs to me that it didn't say "adult deaths," so presumably a significant number of these are actually infant deaths caused by care-givers who probably thought they were just keeping the baby warm.

    I was sleeping this AM when my OH was cooking bacon...bacon alarm clock!

    He mostly cooks a full package in the microwave and freezes what we don't eat that morning. The frozen bacon finishes cooking with 30 seconds in the microwave.
