Anybody else taking this approach?

Hi I want to lose around a stone -1.5 Stones.
I have worked out that my body requires 1568 calories BMR (AT Rest).
So I've manually put this into mfp as my set minimum calories. Then any extra movement from my fitbit (which I have connected) is extra calories I have burned so I eat those back (if needed)

The reason I find TDDE method is because some days I am very active 14,000 steps, and other days I'm less active and therefore need less calories.

My query is, is anybody else doing/done this and had success.
