Anybody else taking this approach?

Hi I want to lose around a stone -1.5 Stones.
I have worked out that my body requires 1568 calories BMR (AT Rest).
So I've manually put this into mfp as my set minimum calories. Then any extra movement from my fitbit (which I have connected) is extra calories I have burned so I eat those back (if needed)
The reason I find TDDE method is because some days I am very active 14,000 steps, and other days I'm less active and therefore need less calories.
My query is, is anybody else doing/done this and had success.

Yes, I adjust my food to my activity level.

Why are you manually figuring your base calories? Just use MFP the way it was designed since it means for you to eat back exercise calories.
Also, you may not always know that you need to eat your exercise calories but you always need to eat them unless you have evidence they are over-inflated.
You should not be trying to lose more than 1 pound per week and it is probably better to lose a little slower since you only have 21 pounds to lose.
I suggest going through the MFP guided-setup and letting it do what it does.5
