Long Weekend-staying on track!

Woo Hoo, it;s Friday, the long Labor Day weekend is almost here!!

Oh No, it's Friday, the long Labor Day weekend is almost here!! It's minefield time again (formerly known as BBQ;s). Tread carefully, around these minefields-they are loaded with ammunition in the form of fat and calories that can sabotage your goals!!

I am planning on avoiding falling in to the minefields by eating a really, really big salad before I go. Any other ideas you want to share for staying on track??

    Whenever I have a weekend away or celebration on the horizon, I try to eat moderately a few days in advance. Also, try increasing exercise prior to the event; playing tag or any games with children at the bbq boosts calorie consumption!
    Finally, remember a little of what you fancy does you good - lean meat, a few potatoes and lots of veg/salad.
