Back to school, My home made luncheables for my step daughte

I am sure by posting this, someone is going to come along and tell me I gotta add some white flour based crackers to up the carb level to make it healthy.

    That's cool. You should totally get some Ritz crackers and stuff them into the hole of the first person who suggests you eat them :)

    So, when I taught preschool I ate sliced turkey and a cheese stick and an orange for lunch everyday. It was the only lunch that I could eat that did not bog me down. I had to keep up with preschoolers and they are fast, stinky, and they require a lot of bending over :)

    I love the lunch box thing and as for the lunch that is fantastic. Thats something my daughter would LOVEE LOVEE so next year when she goes to 1st grade i will be using this!

    Yes, honey dew melon holds up really well already cut up and in the container with the other food. But make sure you have an ice pack in the lunch kit.

    Nice thing is honey dew melon is a complimentary flavor to the ham or other lunch meat and you can chop one up and it lasts a good week in the fridge in a covered container.

    I am fortunate in that my step daughter is very accepting of home made food.
