Does anyone else seem to lose only every 2nd week?? I generally stay under calorie through the week and when I don't exercise and eat most back when I do exercise, so overall I think I'm doing ok, but I don't loose weekly only every other week. It seems to be quite a slow process..

Slow and steady. Don't get discouraged. It's the best way to lose and keep it off. :flowerforyou:

My weight loss is erratic. There are weeks when I lose more, weeks when I lose little, and weeks when I don't lose anything at all.

That is exactly what mine is doing too! I was really frustrated that I had eaten healthy, watched my calories, worked out hard and then no loss! But then I had a three lbs loss the next week. This has happened 3 times, I wish I knew why!?!?!?!?
  • Thanks, I guess it makes sense that slow and steady does win in the end. Thanks for the encouragement ..
  • This is me too! I seem to lose only one week a month. I am very consistent with my exercise and healthy eating, but the weight loss is anything but consistent! The one week is great and I can lose 10 lbs that week, but the rest of the month is very frustrating! I wish I knew what was going on too.

    This is soooo me!
I will lose like 2 kilos/3.9lb a week then nothing or only like 0.4lb the next week.

I blame hormones myself. But yeah, I guess that's how the put it on though right? No magic bullet is worth it. Just keep going. Remember it's going down and not up. :)
  • If it makes you feel any better, I go 3-4 weeks and then drop 5lbs. My personal trainer scratches his head, but it's been consistent for 7 months now. It's tough not to be discouraged sometimes in that no-lose zone, but hang in there and have faith in the choices you are making and it will happen.

As long as there's a downward trend, don't worry about it. Every loss, large or small, gets you one step closer to your goal.

I know exactly why this same thing happens to me. I weigh in and have a lost of say 1-2 lbs. I think to myself: 'gee, that was easy. I guess I could eat a few treats this week or slack on my exercise and still lose a bit.' The next week I weigh in and stay the same. I then realize that 'oh, crap, I guess I better get my butt in gear and really try hard this week' - then I lose again the following week. Repeat cycle. That's just me though.

I wish I had a pattern like that! I'll stay the same for awhile then maybe go up a couple then drop 4 one week. I don't have a pattern so I just try and keep focused and know that if I keep doing what I'm doing I'll drop again eventually.

I'm about 12-13 lbs from my goal so it's getting harder now.
