I like to take fruit leather and granola/ cereal bars or muffins. No refrigeration or heating required.0

I like to make different salads, my current favourite is:
mixed greens
red pepper (roasted, if you prefer)
cucumber
tomato
sliced red plum
2 boiled eggs
dressing of choice
I also like a snack-lunch, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks, crackers, egg, fruit... you can pretty well make it from whatever you have on hand.0 -
Have you ever tried a gold veggie wrap? Just cook a ton of veggies and then roll it up in a wrap. It tastes good. Or a peanut butter and banana sandwich on whole wheat bread? Or spinach salad with strawberries? Hmmmm... Im having this problem too, so im just thinking about what i ate over the summer that will be useful once school starts. Have you ever tried fake cheese? Ive heard it's really good.0

I like tomato and onion sandwiches but don't put the tomato on the bread until you are ready to eat!0

What about hummus and pita bread or chips? You could also use it with veggies like carrots or broccoli. I'm not much of a cold food eater, but hummus works hard to convert me.0

My local supermarket does fruit pots that I take in. They generally have around 2 of your five a day inside and make an awesome dessert. My favourite is a mixed melon pot but there are others with apples, grapes, kiwis, pineapples, oranges etc in all sorts of combinations. They also do veggie pots that would make a good main course.0

How about a veggie sandwich on whole grain bread? I use turkey on mine, but you can skip that and use cucumber, carrot, spinach, lettuce, hummus, olive oil, oregano (just a little bit), radish slices, and anything else you like. I've been seeing some interesting almond milk yogurts at the grocery that you could mix with fruit, freeze then let it thaw out until it's lunch time. Roasted veggies, mashed sweet potatoes, and pureed veggie soups all taste pretty good when cold too.0
