Hello all! Does anyone have any experience with Fort Riley? I'm going there soon and have no idea what to expect! Preferences with Manhattan or Junction City? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    I am not stationed there but I have a friend that is Stationed there they live in Junction City and she (he is deployed) really likes it and about once a month she be-bops over to Manhattan City as a little get away for her self...she is a spouse that doesn't really go on to post very much brand new Army wife first duty station with her spouse and he deployed a month after there PCS so she doesn't have that gumption I guess to on post...but all the pictures with the lakes etc. seems very nice.

    Awesome, thank you! I've been looking at a place in JC but it's hard to know if the pictures are really what it is. It'd be so much easier if the housing wait wasn't 9 months... :ohwell:
