Couch to 5K Calories??

I did the C25K this morning, just got the app on my phone and I like it a lot!

I was wondering how I can track the calories since I dont have a HRM..

    My neighbor & I are doing that program as well & I just track the walking as moderate for " x " amount of minutes & then track the jogging for " x " amount of minutes.

    If you complete the journal entry section, you can put in your data including weight, and it will calculate the calories for you. or you can just use what is on the treadmill. I find the information in the app more accurate since the treadmill doesn't know your weight.

    Do you have a phone with apps? You can use something like MapMyRun or RunKeeper to figure out your pace and amount of time you ran. Then you can search "running" and find your pace, and enter your minutes. RunKeeper gives calories burned if you enter your weight into the program. It will give you a good enough estimate. Might be a little on the high side though.
  • unfortunately, my ipod broke and my bb doesnt have a pedometer.

    but i separated by minutes so i guess thats okay.
