DH is darling husband (or with military wives it stands for deployed husband) also goes for DW (WIFE) DS (SON) DD(DAUGHTER)

Along these lines is MIL (mother in law) FIL (Father in law) BIL SIL ect....

If someone over the age of 50 posts you may want to keep these acronyms handy:

    ATD – at the doctor
    BFF – Best friend fell
    BTW – Bring the wheelchair
BYOT – Bring your own teeth
FWIW – Forgot where I was
GGPBL – Gotta go, pacemaker battery low
    GHA – Got heartburn again
IMHO – Is my hearing aid on?
LMDO – laughing my dentures out!
OMMR – on my massage recliner
ROFLACGU – Rolling on the floor laughing and can’t get up
TTYL – Talk to you LOUDER!
  • I'm so glad that NSV got cleared up. I was wondering that just a few moments ago and was about to post that same question on my wall. Thank you.
