I think this is for women only.
it said my happy weight is 171. Yeah....riiiiggghhhttt.
That would put me at about a 19 BMI and would cut out about 12 lbs of muscle.0 -
Mine was 2 lbs higher than I am. Wonder what the premise is for the calculation :happy:0
-
Ok so I tried, it has me alittle lower than my goal,0

Sorry about that one...yep just for women!0 -
it says I should be 108, LOL, My goal is 125. I can hardly imagine being 125 let alone under 110.0
-
I'm trying...it's not giving me a number. It keeps sending me to a chart where it says I need to pick my frame size...but my frame is chosen. Am I doing something wrong?!?0
-
Got it...sorry! It was telling me that 20 was too young, but it wasn't bold or red or anything so it didn't stand out.
I changed my age to 21 and bam, there it was!0 -
yeah...not sure if the number it gave me would be my happy weight.....it's 20 lbs less than I weigh now....0
-
Mine was 115, 5 lbs less than my goal... don't think I wanna go quite that low..0
-
This was pretty true to what I want my goal weight to be! My GW is 140 pounds (I weigh 160 right now). It says my "happy weight" is 137.5. I could live with that!:bigsmile:
Thanks for sharing!!0 -

104 lbs....lol...not gonna happen! I'd have to lose 26 lbs!0

Mine was 145! I would have to gain 15. I don't think I would be happy. I wonder why some of us get a higher weight and some are getting so much lower.
I have 3 kids, and now I just put in that I didn't have any children and then I got 139 lbs.0 -
huh? mine said 145 as well for a medium frame and when I switched it to small frame it came up as 138
That seems a little high FOR ME

I hope it is only for woman, It said I should be 167. That wont happen0
-
wow 119 for me my goal was 120ish but when I hit 150 I will look back into my goals0
-
Mine was 160 lbs first, then i switched my frame size from large to medium, but it's still 149 lbs...I think i'm aiming for 135-140...I guess I'll finally be a skinny minnie then!0
-
Ahh, it put me at 120 lbs. My current goal is 135...or 130. I don't remember which, but 120 almost sounds like a dream. That was middle school I think.:sad:0
-
My happy weight is supposedly 133. Um, I haven't seen below 150 since I was about 14, and even when I worked out 7 days a week before my wedding, I only got down to 150. And that was pre-baby, with a fitness pass and major motivation.
For me personally--my happy weight is 150. PERIOD. I don't care what those calculators say! Of course, I'm aiming for a healthy BMI at 140, but 150 is a good weight and I am strong at 150.0 -
It says my Happy weight is 135. Hmmm....0

that reminds me of the French calculator I just posted for the Green Team last night:here is one French calculator i know of, not sure where to find one in English
http://livredemonpoids.com
once there, you have to click where it says VOITRE POIDS D'AVENIR at the bottom of the page and you get a popup with 13 questions
1. Metric system (no options here, you need to convert your weight from pounds to kilograms, find some online converter like this one http://www.manuelsweb.com/kg_lbs.htm
2. Current weight (always in kilograms!!!)
3. Desired weight (kilograms!!!)
4. Maximum weight you ever reached (kilograms!!!)
5. Minimum weight you ever reached (kilograms!!!)
6. Longest maintained weight (without putting any effort into maintaining - kilograms!!)
7. Diets you have been on:
aucun=none;
quelques uns=several;
nombreux=numerous
8. Height (in centimeters, e.g. 5ft=152cm, 5ft1=155cm, 5ft2=157cm, 5ft3=160cm, 5ft4=163, 5ft5=165, 5ft6=168, 5ft7=170, 5ft8=173cm)
9. Age
10. Heredity (is there a tendency for extra weight in your family):
aucune=none;
moyenne=medium;
forte=strong
11. Bone structure (surround your left wrist with the thumb and forefinger of your right hand). Your fingers:
se chevauchent=overlap;
se touchent=touch each other;
ne se touchent=do not touch each other
12. Gender (i think you will figure this one without translation )
13. Number of pregnancies: 0 - 7
Then click the blue arrow at the bottom and here is your future healthy weight in kilograms
the questions are similar to some extent, and to my surprise my 'happy' or 'healthy' weight by both the French and American standard is the same - about 143 pounds... hmmm....0 -
my happy weight is 100 pounds... OH PLEASE. I haven't been 100 pounds since like 7th grade. Thats a BMI of 19.5 I believe. I'll stick to my own goal. I hate how online weight counters never taken short people in account.0
-
Hmmmm my happy weight is 136 lbs, which is about 4 lbs lower than my current goal weight. :flowerforyou:0
-
seems from the posts it should be called "Happy and delusional weight" LOL0
-

you can figure out your ACTUALframe size by wrapping your fingers around the bony part of your wrist. If your main fingers and thumb don't touch,, you're large, if they do touch, you're medium and if they overlap, you're small. :flowerforyou:0
