Isnt that the case for most vegetables, they dont or cant grow naturally because of modifications and breeding that humans have done.

corn, wheat, potato, carrots, bananas, and many other fruits and vegetable look nothing like the naturally/wild/original varieties.

Carrots for example were purple and long and thin for like 700 years of its cultivated life, then people thought orange and fat looked better 300 years ago

Sometimes on Thursdays some people (not your so called elders but everyone) observe Throwback Thursday and they enjoy posting old pictures of themselves.
