Next step in lossing

In September I started my journey in getting healthy. It is a long process. By the end of November I lost 23 lbs. I decided at that point to stop lossing and just maintain that weigh. I ended at 171. With a goal I could only gain 2 lbs, no more than that.
I have been able to do that. So today I have decided it is time to start trying to loss again. My goal is to loss another
10-20 pounds.

@Melolson14 Edging your way down slowly means you'll have a much better chance of getting there and actually staying there for the rest of your life. It is a long process. There's no such thing as the Finish Line.5

I like to watch the stock market news. Always have. Don’t know why. I don’t have money in it.
But they talk about trends a lot. An appreciation of trends is helpful in weight loss. Sometimes they talk about markets being in periods of consolidation. It’s like the trend needs a rest.
In weight loss I was stuck a long time at about 220lbs. But I was there so long that 220 became the new normal. A lot better than SW of 285 lbs.
I think you’re doing the smart thing. And when we start from far away, it’s hard to figure a GW. Go for the 10lbs and reassess. You may be surprised where you end up. I sure was.1 -
I’m at 171 my goal is to be at 150. So we will see how it goes.2

Sounds like you are taking it slow and steady, with diet breaks worked in. Well done!0

I’m on my way down. 169.2 today1

It is odd and refreshing to see a post from someone who is actually sensible about their fitness journey. Most of us want results yesterday, whine about it, toil over the entire thing and live in a state of constant angst.
..and here you are doing the sensible thing that I'm sure will end with a great result.4 -
Thanks today down to 168.2. Slow process but I will take it.1

Congrats on dropping to 167.6. I'm starting week one and know it will be slow. I don't even want to look at the scale until I can sense progress.0
