I was doing well and losing weight, but I got bronchitis then the flu and haven't been back to the gym since. I can't get motivated to get back. I need to for my health. Any tips for this morbidly obese woman.

Just keep going. It's really difficult some days. Try incorporating little changes. Start with just consuming fewer calories. The gym can come later.1

Losing weight is about your caloric intake (your eating). If going to the gym is too much, don't do it right now. Can you commit to just logging what you eat? Not even changing what you eat, just logging it? Start small. Small sustainable changes over time are what create success in the long term.
This thread is a great read, as well.

I find motivation can be very difficult to overcome. I might be an anomaly but my motivation to "go through the motions" came from sinking into a deep depression. Some days I just go through the motions and check my mind out of what I'm really doing. It's my time to not think about why i'm depressed and just get a workout in. Maybe finding a way to just show up and check yourself out at the same time might help get you through this hump. You got this and there will always be sucky days and some great days.2

Maybe make a new "workout" playlist, get some bluetooth earphones (if you don't already have them). I have one that I only listen to when I'm at the gym and it has songs I love.. while it isn't enough to get me *to* the gym, it is enough to distract and entertain me while I'm there. I've also started watching Netflix or YouTube on the treadmill. Time goes by so much faster when you're engrossed in something other than the exercise itself.0
