Is there a way to track this in the app? Are there other nutrients that increase absorption?

The trackable nutrients on this site can be viewed by going to FOOD > Settings, then click the drop-down boxes in the "Nutrients Tracked" fields. No, Magnesium isn't one that is available on this site.

As far as nutrients that aid absorption? Eat a wide variety of foods, lots of different things in each meal. For some nutrients like iron, it's good to pair them with other things. In the case of iron, eat Vit C with it for better absorption. In general, just eat as many different foods as possible and don't get stuck on eating the same things over and over. Probiotics are good to help populate your digestive system with good biotics. There's a lot of info about this online. :) Welcome to the forums.
