Do you avoid weighing?

Iv been back on the calorie counting wagon for a few weeks. I dropped off for a few months while I was doing 18 hour shifts.
I’m avoiding checking my weight, I know my starting weight and I won’t be weighing myself for about 5 weeks, I find I either get unmotivated if I haven’t lost much or if I loose I decide to treat myself a little too much haha. Does anyone else avoid weighing? Do you feel better checking less frequently?

I was weighing daily for about a year but missed a few days before Christmas, then put on over Christmas but didn't weigh as I didn't want to know what the "damage" was.
I got back on track with my calories and then weighed late January and found it wasn't as bad as I thought.
I've restarted a fitness class with a weekly weigh in so doing that for a while and not weighing at home.1 -
I weigh myself officially every Saturday but I can't resist a quickie around Wednesday. I force myself not to do it more often.1

I weigh every weekday morning, record it ona weight trending app, then record my weekly weight average to MFP every Friday. The almost-daily weighing helps me desensitize myself to the daily weight fluctuations, and the weekly average recording helps keep me accountable.1

I weigh every day in the morning. When I stop weighing daily I gain weight. It keeps me accountable and it’s really just a habit at this point.1

I used to do just once a week but plan to do daily now since water weight can change often. Want to keep an average. Only have around 10lbs or so to go1

This, exactly. I needed to get it through my thick skull that my weight is going to fluctuate 2 or 3 pounds up or down nearly every day and I need to weigh EVERY DAY in order to avoid a relapse into obesity.0 -
Usually daily but missed a few days recently.0

Pretty much daily but I don’t often log unless I’ve dropped weight, or if I feel I’ve been slacking and have a new (higher) set point. I feel excited to weigh myself. If you don’t feel excited you’re not doing it right!0

I usually weigh daily but if I have a salty meal the day before I don't bother usually, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'll increase.0
