How much to I cut???

I’m currently 188lbs and summer is coming up. I need to cut however I don’t want to lose tool much muscle. Any ideas on how much I should shred off?

Without the risk of losing muscle3 -
I'd guess you're in the 18-20% body fat range. Nobody can tell you how much weight you need to lose because we don't know your current weight and height and we don't know what your goal is.
I think generally you can get down to 10-12% body fat without too much danger of losing muscle, if, 1) you are consistently lifting according to a well-structured, progressive lifting program, 2) you are eating sufficient protein, approximately 0.8-1 gram per pound of body weight per day, and 3) you don't try to lose more than 1-1.5% of your body weight per week. There are other factors but those three are by far the most important.4 -
