I tried this idea today but not with almond milk. I wanted something a bit more rich with more protein.

    Blended together the following ingredients:
1/2 cup Fage 0% plain yogurt
    2 tbsp PB2
    1/2 banana
    1/4 cup sugar-free syrup
    dash of vanilla
    dash of cinnamon
... shook in the ice bag per OP's instructions... Voila! Frozen Yogurt!!!

    Total calories: 183

Ate this again today but this time with almonds in it.... sooooooooooooooooo yummy!

  • I found a similar recipe online that can be made in the ice cream maker. Haven't tried it yet so not sure how much ice and rock salt is needed. The comments I read also suggest tossing in some sliced almonds and dark chocolate pieces, though that would add more calories but still a tasty treat!

    Chocolate Coconut Milk Ice Cream

3 cups of unsweetened coconut milk (about two cans)
    2/3 cup of cocoa powder
    6 tablespoons agave syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whisk cocoa powder in a small amount of coconut milk, until smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until well combined. Or dump all ingredients together and blend with a stick blender. Make according to your machines instructions.
  • I love the creative recipes people put on here..Thanks!
