Short Fat Girl Fed Up (60kgs to lose)

Hey everyone I’m a 5’2 female at the ripe old age of 28 who’s looking to change her life style and get fit. I’m currently 118kgs and for my height I am morbidly obese, it’s not something I’m proud of but it’s something I’m trying to change. Three weeks ago I started walking everyday, just baby steps and only 30 minutes at first, today was the first time I started jog a lamppost and walk a lamppost to build up my strength and it’s something I’m proud of. I’ve lived a lifestyle where I’ve always gone up and down with weight and now I’m going to make that change. I’m tired of being the unhealthy fat friend and people chuckling at my weight and I’m not going to stop till I hit my goals! I’m looking for people to join me on this journey and to lose weight and motivate each other so we can hit our goal weights and live healthy lives! Feel free to add me I also have started doing Apple Watch challenges (I’m a bit competitive, it’s the gamer girl in me) and would love to find some friends to challenge with!

Good morning! First, I love your handle! From one "kiwi"ish girl to another! You have got this. This forum is an awesome place of learning and support. Just be kind to yourself, set your plan, work your plan, and adjust your plan as your journey progresses! You will do this in steps, and in your time. Just think, several weeks from now, you wont be sorry - just thankful for the changes you have made. Enjoy your day.1

I fully agree with advice above! Key is when you fail NIT IF but when you fail get back up and stay focused. We all have bad days it’s a struggle but hard work and as me being a man of faith believe in prayer. In and if myself I can do nothing but through Christ Jesus I can do ALL things but only through him. I’m praying for you ! God bless you! YOU GIT THIS!!!! 😁👍✝️💪2

I'm 28 and obese also!! I also have gone up and down in weight. I lost 33 lb since 1/1/19 and gained back 5 in the last 3 months so I feel you!! 😩😭1

5'3" and started at obesity III. Three years later, I'm slightly overweight and closing on goal.
Take it slow and steady; make small changes.
Feel free to friend me if you like, but one caveat: I use MFP on my desktop 99% of the time. For some weird technical reason, challenges can only be accepted via phone app (or at least, I get an error message when someone sends me one and I try to respond). So, I'm happy to cheer you on, but inviting me to a challenge is probably going to be a non-starter.1 -
